Stuttgarter Hofbräu – The Modern Traditional Brewery in the Heart of Stuttgart

The traditional brewery also underlines this connection to its home town with its clear commitment: “A Stuttgarter for life”. Its history goes back to the 16th century. After various mergers, Stuttgarter Hofbräu first appeared as the Württemberg-Hohenzollerische Brauereigesellschaft in 1872 and was the official supplier to the royal court from 1883. Today, Stuttgarter Hofbräu continues to delight its customers in retail and gastronomy, but above all beer lovers in the region with its extensive range. Stuttgarter Hofbräu beers are a crucial part of numerous sporting and cultural events as well as the spring festival or the Cannstatt folk festival on the Wasen. Because its beers are brewed using only the best natural raw materials, Stuttgarter Hofbräu has been committed to nature and landscape conservation in Baden-Wuerttemberg for more than two decades. In addition to NABU Baden-Württemberg and the Swabian Heritage Association, the Stuttgarter Hofbräu Environmental Foundation also supports a number of larger and smaller nature conservation measures with a focus on the topic of “water”.
